The journey started when three unique individuals, Anita Rani Dhaliwal, Erin Mester,
and Ash Kumra, came together with the desire of making dreams come to life. Here
are their stories.
|
|
Anita Rani Dhaliwal is a seasoned Internet Consumer Entrepreneur. In 2005
she founded www.DivaVillage.com, a leading female empowerment website, which has
been featured on various media platforms, including Oprah.com. Anita is also a life
guidance coach specializing in Feng Shui, Energy Healing, and Intuition. Anita’s
passion lies in business and living life fully!

My Story:
I was conditioned to live life a certain way. I had been controlled by the
programming of society and other outside influences. That didn’t get me very far.
After seeing my mom pass away 5 weeks into being diagnosed with cancer, ending my
18 year marriage and raising 3 kids on my own, I wanted more out of my life. I wanted
to do what makes ME happy. I wanted to live my dreams, create and feel ALIVE! I
wanted to make a difference in the world. I had a dream: to live life fully and
to awaken to a higher way of thinking, living and believing!

Being exposed to the Law of Attraction and looking to make a change, I created my
first real Dreamboard. I spent over two weeks going through magazines, cutting images
and creating intentions. This board displayed all the dreams I wanted to experience,
from various energy healings and ayurvedic massages, to cabana huts in Koh Samui,
Thailand. Three weeks after the making of my Dreamboard, I got a call from my brother
asking me to join him on vacation. My first thought was, “There is no way I can
go! I have 3 kids, a business, and employees to attend to. I have too much to do
and not enough money.” Still, my brother demanded I find a way to do it because
he was booking a first class ticket for me, reserving a fully-paid private cabana
in an exclusive resort with unlimited food and all the premium services I wanted.
Needless to say, I found a way. I went and experienced my dream come true: yoga
under a tree, past life regression, healing sessions, tai chi, enchanting tea with
a tea master, and at least 2 massages a day – all covered by my brother. Two weeks
after I came back, I was sharing my experiences with a friend on the phone and happened
to be taking a closer look at the picture of cabanas on my Dreamboard. I realized
that I had gone to the exact location of the pictures on my Dreamboard and didn’t
even know it! I became a full-on believer in Dreamboards and the Law of Attraction
and created the intention that one day I was going to share this with the online
world!

Erin Mester is a veteran in technology, product marketing, and business strategy.
Erin has a strong and diverse background in software engineering with projects ranging
from national security, to bio technology, to large-scale commercial systems. Erin
co-founded www.servana.com a comprehensive platform containing tools and training
to empower the average person to materialize their dreams of working for themselves
on their own terms.

My Story:
I love being an entrepreneur. I love the creativity of it. I love the challenge,
learning and personal development that that come from it. I love that it allows
me to use my innate talents, skills, and passions to create and build businesses
that serve the world.
|
|
While on my entrepreneurial journey I started learning about the concepts of optimal
living, self mastery, and how to live life to your highest potential in general.
As I explored this field it quickly became my passion, and I wanted to be able to
share it with others. I also had the urge to somehow find a way to create a meaningful
business around this passion, so I could devote my time to what I care most about.
When the opportunity to create DreamItAlive came about, I immediately recognized
it as my chance to work on a business that was based on my passion. I would be a
part of something that inspires and helps others. At the same time, it would cultivate
my own development and growth. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect business
to devote myself to.

I see DreamItAlive as a tool to help myself and others constantly achieve higher
levels of self mastery and live our best lives to our fullest potential. By creating
and achieving dreams, we are forced to grow by learning lessons, stepping out of
our comfort zones, mastering our minds and cultivating awareness; all the while
pushing for continually higher levels of achievement and success.

Ash Kumra is a business coach, speaker and entrepreneur. Ash has spoken to
over 10,000 people on entrepreneurship, social media and branding, including USC’s
Entrepreneurship Program, The Indus Entrepreneurs, UCI Merage School of Business,
UCLA Anderson School of Business, and the 2011 Free Enterprise Tour sponsored by
the US Chamber of Commerce. Ash is also an adjunct professor on entrepreneurship
for several institutions. The South Asian Business Alliance Network awarded him
the 2010 “Best Young South Asian American Entrepreneur”. Ash is currently Chairman
and co-founder of digital content distribution agency DesiYou, the 2010 recipient
for "Best Digital Media" company by the Irvine Entrepreneur Forum.

My Story:
I love entrepreneurship simply because I like to build things. There came a time
when I wanted to empower the world. I became fascinated with the "Law of Attraction"
and realized that the more I manifest, the world will always get the best. Serendipitously,
Anita and Erin both felt the same. So came a new change; so came DreamItAlive.com.

Of course, I have had struggles and disappointments. I have been heartbroken and
been at loss both spiritually and financially. But, I persevered and always knew
that success will come. With DreamItAlive, I, too, have a platform to manifest and
create success for myself and the world. I can also create an environment in which
I am in charge of my life, instead of my life being in charge of me.
